***** Five Stars. Excellent article about something we all can relate to. Please write more articles like this. I finished this book today because I felt compelled to read it due to all the publicity surrounding it. Thank you for featuring these incredible new authors. The memoir was extremely emotional but real! I will surely be telling everyone I know to read this book! Loved the kids... they make you laugh and cry even harder. Bless Alley's heart for what she did as a mother. Wrong choice but I wonder if we were that desperate, could any of us have made that choice. Stay blessed.
P.S.- Remarkable to see a man supporting a book this powerful. Hopefully it will get all the support it needs to become a best seller. We need this in our schools!!! Hi Tyrese;-)

It's good to see a male celebrity supporting a topic like this that hits home for so many people. His plea is heartfelt. Good article about abuse.Congrats to Tyrese for stepping up! Let's see more...

A very compelling interview. The book brings attention to a serious problem that is pervasive at various levels in our society. The authors' candor in sharing her families experience with domestic violence, should encourage people to come forward and tell their story.

Gleam, thank you for such an insipirational article. I've already read this book and hope that it becomes a bestseller. The story is horrible but so is abuse. The twist blew me away because I've never heard of anything so honest and frightening. I have to say that I loved the bible versus. People, read this book! I understand the actor Tyrese Gibson is blowing it up everywhere. That is the kind of push it needs. If he can do it, we need to as well. The message is solid and something we should care about. The writing style is refreshingly different, and impressive. The authors should speak publicly about this book. I initially heard about the book on facebook and now it's everywhere. Let's keep this powerful message going. God Bless

I just finished reading In Our House by Marala Scott/Tre Parker and all I have to say is that this is one of the most prolific books I have ever read. It is compelling to see a magazine cover this story the way you did. The book is simply shocking, although I did find myself laughing at Collin Jr.'s character (not the father). This is a book that everyone should read. It is a blessing to have material like this that can help people look at others while they look in the mirror. I didn't know it was Domestic Violence Month but perfect timing to provide stregnth to everyone, including me. It took a tremendous amount of courage for this stroy to be told. Congrats.
