The celebrities we love to watch and listen to have done only what God intended by being fruitful and multiplying. Now, their offspring are following in their footsteps giving the future of young black hollywood a new batch of talent next in line to take the world of entertainment by storm.

                         EVAN ROSS – ACTOR/MUSICAN

 

His face is becoming more and more recognizable giving his famous last name a run for its money. Evan Ross the twenty-year-old actor, son of musical legend Diana Ross began his acting career in the late 2000s, appearing in the films while he was still a high school student making his first film debut in the movie “ATL” released in 2006 alongside Atlanta rapper T.I. Since his debut, Ross has continued to flourish in his acting ability by picking challenging less glamorous roles. In 2007 he played an urban kid with a speech impediment co-starring with Terrance Howard in the swimming film “Pride”. He also racked up rave reviews for his role as a homosexual HIV positive troubled teenager in the HBO film “Life Support” alongside his real life sister “Girlfriends” star Traci Ellis Ross. Evan is a person to watch because he is smart and talented enough to take on roles that many would shy away from. It takes someone who really knows who they are to be confident enough to make moves like that, it is evident to many that Evan has a pretty good idea of what he wants to make out of his career. Ross shows no signs of letting up, by adding another title of music artist next to his name. He is in the process of working on his first music album, adding truth to the fact that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.

 

 INDIA BENET’ – SINGER/SONGWRITER

 

 

 India,who is the only child of Eric Benet,is a multi-talented teen who writes music,sings,as well as plays the guitar. Benet has an “amazing relationship” with his multi-talented 16-year-old daughter India.“There’s a song on my[new album] called, ‘Still I believe,’ where India sings background,”Eric says. ”India is quite the producer and songwriter herself. India’s mom, who was killed in a car crash 15 months after India was born, would be proud of her talented daughter. She has a beautiful voice and she plays guitar.”India who goes by the industry name of IndyB shares her music with fans on her Myspace page.  

 

 JAYDEN SMITH & WILLOW SMITH – ACTORS

Will Smith, 39, and his wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith, 36, are talented actors. And it appears that they have passed on that talent to children Jaden Christopher Syre, 9, and Willow Camille Reign, 7.  The pair are set to star in the Warner Brothers feature film Amulet.  Dad Will has signed on to produce the film.

The film is an adaption of the Scholastic novel by the same name, in which a brother and sister move in with their great-grandfather after their father passes away.  After the pair move in, they use their great-grandfather’s magical amulet to rescue their mother from a beast.

This is not the first time that Jaden and Willow have been seen on the big screen.  Jaden starred in The Pursuit of Happyness, while Willow appeared in I Am Legend.

 RUSSELL SIMMONS & DANIEL SIMMONS -DESIGNERS/ACTORS

These two have the world at their fingertips. As heirs to the Simmons throne Daniel a.k.a Diggy who is only thirteen is  starting his own clothing and shoe line called Space Age, starting in 2009.  While Russell a.k.a Russy is starting his own skateboard line called Purple Gorilla.
